Do I need a degree to take a TEFL course?

How long is the TEFL course?

Our TEFL courses run over 4 weeks full-time and award an internationally recognised 120-hour certificate. This meets the minimum requirement for most EFL teaching positions worldwide.

Can non-native English speakers do the TEFL course?

Yes. Non-native English speakers with a strong command of English (B2 level or above) are welcome. We have trained teachers from many different language backgrounds.

What is the difference between TEFL, TESOL, and CELTA?

TEFL and TESOL are broadly equivalent qualifications accepted worldwide. CELTA is a specific Cambridge qualification. All are recognised by employers globally.

Where can I teach English after completing the TEFL course?

Graduates can teach in over 100 countries. Most commonly Vietnam, China, South Korea, Japan, Thailand, Philippines, South Africa, Spain, and the Middle East.

How much do English teachers earn abroad?

In Vietnam: $1,200–$2,000 USD/month. Philippines: $800–$1,400 USD/month. South Africa: R18,000–R28,000 ZAR/month. Many packages include accommodation and flights.
